3-Wheel Licensing

If you are looking to learn to ride a 3-wheel motorcycle or if you've been riding and just need your license, this is the class for you.

The 3 Wheel Basic Riding Clinic is a research-based and action-oriented core curriculum designed to teach beginning 3-Wheel motorcyclists of all ages the physical and mental skills necessary to ride safely on the street.  This class is a licensing course as well as a skills course.

We offer both the 1 day Total Control 3WBRC as well as the 2 day MSF 3WBRC.

The curiculum includes basic 3 wheel motorcycle operation, maximum effective braking techniques, turning skills, obstacle avoidance maneuvers, classroom and range instruction at our dedicated ranges, on our loaner Can-Am Spyders and Rykers.

There is no experience required.  And there is no pre-course work to do.  Sign up and show up with the appropriate gear.  We have a classroom session and a written test (everything you need to know is covered in the classroom session).  We follow that up with the range (riding) portion of the class.  We supply the 3-wheel Spyder or Ryker for you to ride.  The riding portion is followed by a riding test.  You will have learned and practiced all of the skills that you will be in the test.

Upon successful completion of the class, you will receive a completion card that you will take the the DPS license office and turn it in with your existing driver's license.  They will then add your motorcycle license (restricted to 3 wheel motorcycles). No further testing is required at the DPS office, you do it all in the class.

This class is offered at the Fort Worth\, Lewisville, and the Mesquite locations.

This class is ONLY for 3 wheel machines and only for a 3 wheel license!  Be sure to pick the correct class.
