Licensing Courses

The Basic Rider Course and Intermediate Riding Clinic help you get your unrestricted M endorsement on your drivers license, which allows you to legally ride any 2-Wheel and 3-Wheel Motorcycles. The 3-Wheel Basic Rider Course helps you get a restricted endorsement on your drivers license that only makes it legal to ride a 3-Wheel Motorcycle. With successful completion of these courses, you will be eligible for a discount on your insurance and help dismiss a speeding ticket received while on your motorcycle.
  • Beginner Licensing

    To get your motorcycle license in Texas, you must complete a safety course.

    The process: Click on the schedule below and choose the date of class you want.  Fill out the registration online and pay at the end.  You will revieve a confirmation email with the link to the eCourse.  Complete the eCourse within 30 days of class.  Show up to class, on time.  Students meeting evaluation standards... more

  • Experienced Rider Licensing

    To get your motorcycle license in Texas, you must complete a safety course. Lone Star Bikers offers 2 different one-day Experienced Rider Licensing courses: Total Control IRC and the MSF BRC2-LW.   Both are approved by Texas as licensing courses.

    If you are looking to learn to ride a 3-wheel motorcycle or if you've been riding and just need your license, this is the class for you.

    The Total Control Intermediate Riding Clinic is a one day skills and licensing course intended for experienced riders who own a motorcycle. The student is required to provide their own motorcycle with proof of insurance.
